professor liu is an excellent teacher. after years of horrible math teachers in high school i finally got a good teacher. if you take this class, all you have to do to do well is go to class and take notes. GREAT PROFESSOR. Don't listen to other people who don't know what they are talking about.

Yes she has an accent, but her class wasn't that bad at all. If you have any knowledge of high school calculus, this class should be a breeze. Her exams are straighforward and not tricky at all. She is generous with partial credit. Compared to all other calc professors my friend had, I would prefer her accent over a english speaking professor anyti

She does have an accent, but you could still understand her very easily. Come on, we all know that about 50% of professors or TA on campus has accent, and I have to say her accent is understandable. Calculus is hard, but she makes it easy. Her exams are easy too. Do all the work and you will get A. Trust me. A is not hard from her

listen - yes di. liu has an accent...but most professors at rutgers do. She knows her****. there is a lot of HW and there are quizzes every week, but if it wasn't for all the work i would not have gotten a b+...im not that great at math and i was fine - her exams are CAKE!!! compared to other professors (who might speak better english)partial cred

if you asked her a specific question she was ok, but in class she would go over the easier stuff forever then skip over the stuff that we needed to know. I had Duffy in recitation and she was really good. The tests are easy and Liu is good about partial credit

OMG, this teacher DOES NOT speak English whatsoever, very unclear, what she gives as notes and study guides is NOT on the exam... Do not take this teacher if you are taking Calc 1!

This woman is a terrible teacher. Yes, she knows calc, but she shouldn't be paid to teach it. Her grasp of the English language is poor and her lectures are hard to understand because of her accent and randomly dropped parts of speech. Like verbs, nouns, conjunctions... But hey, the tests are easy.

Who hires a professor who doesn't speak english. She proves and derives every theorem, and just repeats text definitions...all in swahili. She is not a teacher. I usually have a faint idea of the subject matter when I arrive at class, but I leave feeling as if I just woke up from a coma.

Shes not as bad as everyone says she is. Yes she has an accent but its not that bad that u will fail the class cuase of it. Shes very generous with partial credit and she is always available for extra help.
