Took him for a summer class on Labor and Industrial relations - EASY! Very interresting class, had great discussion and tests were easy. Great class to learn about how the union shaped our labor laws and its place in the modern workplace - if any. If you have an open elective in ECON - take Dr. Davis.

Not an Econ class really, mostly deals with Labor/Union cases but he does go on and discuss Labor Economics and various things he's knowledgeable in. Very interesting if you want to learn better ways to be a manager. If you have an open Econ elective spot I would take it.

cool guy dry humor great guy!!! practice exam just like actual test no final if you don't miss up to 3 classes and he curves every test til a person has a 100!!!! take him you will love his class not to mention he gives breaks and he let's out early!!!

Best teacher I have had at UNCC. I had for Industrial Relations and wish I had taken his ECON 4177 class. Gives practice exams to use to study from. No homework. Final is optional. Definitely take Davis if you can.

Dr Davis is a great teacher. He uses real life examples that are easy to remember on the tests. His tests are easy if you study a little, but he made subject matter that I dislike stick in my mind!

He is very funny, very easy and makes the class intersting. he just uses the book (no slides, no homework no project, just 3 exams) he gives real-life examples and make everything clear. you'll forget everything after class because he is too easy and don't make you think

Davis is a different kind of professor and can take some getting used to, however he is funny and will make some pretty off the wall comments. All his classes are super easy as long as you come to class. I had all 3 undergrad classes he teaches and got A's without ever studying. Take him if you can, he is not the best but easier than other profs

You'd think a college prof. would know how to take attendence and recognize people in such a small class but doesnt and screws people into having to take the final. tests are SUPER hard and lectures are not helpful but for the graphs. big curve is the only thing that saves you. This guy is the best professor in the Econ department. He takes strict attendence, so if you don't like coming to class dot take him. But if you do come to class you can exempt the final. His tests are easy and he gives huge curves. My final grade was above 100 after his curves.

Absolutly the best person to take for any econ class if you can get him. He tries really hard to make the material easy to understand and as interesting as possible. His tests relativly easy plus he gives outrageous curves, several people will score 100+ on the tests. Definatly take him for econ!!!!

GREAT teacher. I'm a senior, and he's by FAR the easiest teacher I've ever had. Tests are directly from what he teaches. SO easy to make an A, there's NO reason why you shouldn't. GREAT PROFESSOR!!
