If you can avoid this class, please do. The material is all memorization. He does not know how to provide adequate answers to student questions. Taking this class was definitely a regret this semester. It's a 3 hour lecture. Having TA's or something else you can ask for help would save this god damn class.

His lectures are very clear and I like how he defines everything. Lectures can get a little off topic but I think his stories help keep people interested.

Lots of reading, dry content, and your mark is comprised of 3 midterms worth 30, 30 and 40%. This is the worst professor I've ever had by far. Lectures move at a snail's pace, you can self-study the content in 1/3 the time. About 50% of his lectures are "background information" and personal stories but if you skip them you miss tiny details.

He's frustrating. Clearly knows what he's talking about, and clearly passionate about his material given he's been teaching this course for so long, but his poor English skills translate into both his lectures and his notes, which make them difficult to decipher. He also frequently ignores students who try to answer his questions or ask any too.

Kind of a frustrating professor. Hard to understand, rambles a lot, his tests and lecture notes are formatted really strangely and hard to understand due to English not being his native language. He posts all his lecture notes and records his lectures, which is nice. You can tell he is really passionate about what he teachers, but it's quite boring

Says "guys" a lot. Sometimes adds in (partially related) stories - gives a few minutes of break time in addition to 20 minutes true break (for 3 hour lectures). Some words are not enunciated correctly - usually possible to guess which word he meant. Memorization heavy. Only true/false, short answer, multiple choice and fill-in-the-blanks.

Very kind and passionate, but gets distracted easily and very very hard to understand. lecture notes and memorization are key and much more helpful than his actual lectures.

Good class, good prof. Provided you are respectful and do the reading, you'll do fine. Prof is caring and understanding, but no fool. Be sure to attend all classes, as all info is important for the midterms (those who don't generally do poorly). Midterms are "dense", with many questions, so be well-prepared and budget your time carefully.

Yourie records his lectures, which helps with studying for his midterms. Midterms are noncumulative so they're easy to study for. This class is mainly memorization, so it's definitely a GPA booster

He's lucky the course comprises mainly of rules which are not difficult to communicate. Whenever he explained WHY the rules existed, he defaulted to skit comedy using student volunteers but didn't actually communicate the point well. Rinse and repeat and you have every week of this course. Pay more attention to his notes than his speeches.

Tough class. Assignments online are super long, around 100 questions. Tests are extremely difficult because of the time limitation. Only an hour to write exams worth 100+ marks. Crazy. Prof has horrible accent, tries to be funny but isn't. This class should have tutorials, so material could be understood better.
