One of the best teachers I have ever had. Though learning Japanese isn't easy, Yuriko Sensei makes seem easy and try's very hard to make sure that you learn the material in a fun way. Grading in the class is almost unneeded, because as long as you put even a little effort into learning the material and do the assigned packets, you will get an A.

Awesome teacher. She is very helpful, kind and enjoyable to listen to during class. The only thing I absolutely despised about this course is the awful textbook we are forced to use. The book is not helpful and confused me constantly.

Next semester will be my last with Yuriko Sensei and I am quite saddened by it. She is an amazing, helpful, fun teacher. Her homework and tests are not difficult, and she is always there to help you whenever you need it. Do not pass up the opportunity to take her classes!

Comment:
Sensei makes you practice writing, speaking, and sentence construction over and over again, except you never notice! She rotates all of the activities and makes them fun. Before you know it, you're remembering things without having to sit down and "think" about memorizing them like in other language classes. This is her gift and talent! Take her!

Easily my favorite professor may entire college career. Not only does she go above and beyond teaching you Japanese but she attempts to interact with the student. A very nice and generous person. I look foward to continuing my Japanese studies in her classes.

I don't know how she does it. She's total pro! Starting from 8 in the morning until 5:00, she gives awesome lectures. So unique and creative to let everybody engaged in the class! Learning this new language is not that painful because of her. She is very cute and funny. (adorable voice, too!)
