Zena is definitely a nice person, however her teaching style doesn't help you to learn. Read the textbook, I agree, her slides are useless. Her assignment are tough, I wouldn't be able to do them without help from a fourth-year business student, and he said it's extremely hard for beginners in ECON.

Her exams can be hard for those who do not go to classes or read the book. But if you do want to learn about economics, her classes are super informational and she is very helpful. Attend the classes and read the book, you'll do wonderfully. Plus she's an incredibly generous marker.

A very intelligent cynic with a low tolerance for poorly discplined and unmotivated students. Don't recommend her for first-year students -- she will destroy you. But if she's your Major at upper-level, you will learn a lot.

she is painful to listen to from the start of each class to the end. She over emphasises all her words and talks to you like you speak a different language. she also spends to much time trying to be witty. i could not help but daydream in her classes. make sure u read the textbook and you will pass. you dont even need to go to class to learn.

tough. 5 assignments and 3mid-terms exams. and her assignments are freaking heard. even though i spend a lot of time to do it, i can just get around 60%. exams are from textbooks, so not too hard. but i recommend u not to take her class if u want to get a good mark.

She is awesome. She is very passionate about what she teaches and is very involved in her field. She is a little quacky, sure, but she stands up for what she believes in and her 'quackyness' just makes for people to remember her more. Good Show!
