Great teacher but a bit boring. Will help and if you show up and contribute you are guaranteed an A. Can be repetitive but you do learn in his class if you show up. Very easy A but again if you actually pay attention you will learn alot

There are a few really important concepts about Islam that I learned in this class, but really I learned those from the books! His lectures are so repetitive and boring. He disregards and demeans anyone who tries to bring alternative views to his rose-colored opinions!

Amin is a great teacher. You learn a lot from his classes, and his tests are all open book. Plus, the finals are take-home exams. It's impossible not to get an A in his classes.

I am in my first Kazak class. I heard he was easy but this class is a joke. He has taught us absolutely nothing and we're halfway through the semester. If you don't agree with him about something, he will treat you like garbage. Very disrespectful. Lectures are a waste of time but he takes attendance.

I have taken 3 of Kazaks courses. He presents a VERY rosey view of the Middle East and Islam. I did not feel that Kazak was presenting all the relevant view points. His tests are easy, and his lectures are fairly simple. He expects you to take the initiative. He has a lot of presence for 5'3".

This class is an easy A, but if you came to college to learn something his classes are a waste of time. He is ineloquent to the point of being annoying. Truthfully he is a nice guy, but college professors jobs are to teach you something, not to try to be your best friend.

I am sorry to say that this is one of the worst professors I have even encountered. He squandered the opportunity to teach us anything. The class was videos with convoluted introductions. Tenure is bad when it comes to him. I CANNOT imagine why others on here gave him high ratings, oh yeah.. he gives easy As. (btw I got one)
