Great lecturer, he kept the class interesting which is hard to do for night courses. He clearly has a lot of experience in the field and brings in past studies or research he's done to help give color to his presentations. Very down to earth and friendly guy and a very easy grader. Basically as long as you do the assignments you get an A.

If you want to take a class where you will actually learn something... Although the project seems stupid, at the end you have something you can use in your career. One class I felt like I actually learned something useful. He also stays after class to help students at all times. Not an Easy A, & attendance MANDATORY. Knocks off 15 pts missed class

Ahuvia takes a few weeks to reply to a simple e-mail. Horrible at communication, not a great listener when you ask for a simple question. Semester long project is very tedious and teaches me nothing. Class may have been better if a book was even required. I enjoyed the articles. I could have used more of a challenge. Disinteresting.

Ahuvia is a great professor overall. However, he has these narrated slide that you have to watch on your own time. They are incredibly boring. Also you'll have to read a lot of articles. Make sure you keep up on the reading. Project groups are randomly assigned and he can randomly change you group. There's a lot of assignments worth a few points.

Professor Ahuvia's Advanced Marketing Management class was insightful, informative, and fun. Professor Ahuvia is down-to-earth and helps his students best understand the material. He is highly acclaimed in his field and brings much of the material that he lectures throughout the world to class. Make sure you follow his study guide- it's a big help!

Not a very good professor. Slides are full of pictures. He focuses more on the group project and then the midterm and final are just thrown in there. Tests are worth way too much for the amount of questions on there. His grading scale changes from different assignments. I would spend my time and money on a different professor.

The material is not hard to understand when you have taken micro and macro economics, the professor on the other hand is difficult. You go into groups and he announces that any question cannot be directed at him but rather at the group. He never uses the book, misses class often and the material presented in class is usually not on the test.

Very nice guy and very intelligent. He knows the subject well. However, he is pretty dis-organized and demands way too much from his students. There is a big work overload in this class. He is constantly assigning papers and customer research at an annoying level. Just when you think you can relax after a big assignment, He assigns another one.

Great Professor! A bit unorganized but he was re-writing the class when I took him. Love how he had us read articles instead of a book. I learned so much! He teaches at Ross but if you take him you get a TA. It was so great to be able to take a class from such a great professor in person!

The best instructor ever. I had him for BA100 which was one of my first college courses. I learned so much, not just about marketing, but about what to expect in college. It was a fun class. I would like to have him as an instructor again soon.

This class was ok. At times it was fun, and other time I hated going to class. This class is alot of work, 3 papers, a mid-term, a final, homework assignments, and inclass work. There is no textbook, but you have to print alot of articles. I printed mine out at work to save my paper limit at SOM. Im glad this class is over.

Relevant knowledge of the material and keeps it interesting. Just enough to make the full 3 hours go by a little faster. He gives you only a couple absences but you'll need to be in class to get a good grade anyway. If you are, it's easy.

Prof Ahuvia's class is extremely insightful. I graduated in 06' and have found his course content very helpful in my career. Especially if you find yourself performing research for clients or to prepare a internal business case, I highly recommend you learn how to read these articles which can be bland at times.

The lectures are interesting and he finds good ways to explain and present info, but the tests are unclear and the group project for this class very heavily determined one's grade without much guidance from the prof. This class was harder than expected, he is not an easy grader, even despite the curve he gives on tests.

he is not helpful, u don't have a choice but to take him, there is no other prof teaching this class. a lot of print out articles which some of them are useless and boring. it would be better if there was a book. he acts nice, pretent that he is willing to help. but don't get fooooollleeedddd

Touchy-feely MKT class. Too many articles(just under 1,000 pgs that YOU print out). Class is boring, but attendance counts. 2 easy MC exams. Uses CT for comments about articles (read 1 page of the article and write a comment & UR good). Term paper makes up 35% of grade & he gave NO guidance. Avoid if you want to learn about MKT for your job
