He's not a bad professor. People just like to complain because they realize they are not as smart as they thought they were. He goes everything that's on the test. There are no curve balls. The topics are not difficult. Understand his examples in class and do the ones in the back fo the book.

Dr Baba is very unclear and doesn't explain concepts well. He gets off topic easily. Did not have a problem understand his accent. MUST attend SI or teach yourself. Tests are fair and doable.

I got an A, but I took AP Chem first. I highly advise attending SI secions, they are life savors. He is always happy, but never clear and has a hard time answering questions.

this class = joke. I was a senior physics major when I took it. Literally, I would do math homework, or just not show up to class except to take an exam, get an exam back, or find out when an exam was. If I hadn't already known all the material, I would have been totally confused I am sure. Totally unclear and frequent errors in what he says.

Dr. Baba is the least helpful professor at the university. His classes are easy but he is a horrible teacher (for genchem or upper level classes). He is a slow, random grader and his notes often contain numerous, glaring errors.

This was probably the worst class I've taken. he rushed through the notes to make up for the 4 times that he was not in class. he would get off topic easliy, which is fine if we can still cover the material, but we were never able to complete the material in the alloted time. he is a terrible teacher. avoid this class.

of the chemistry teachers for majors, he's probably the second easiest (next to hopkins). i do not regret taking him at all, and i'm looking forward to having him for phys. chemistry. studying from the powerpoints and writing down whatever he puts on the board are really all that is necessary.

Dr. Baba is a cool man. If you pay attention, he will make you laugh almost every class. His remarks are from left field, that's how you can tell he's super intelligent. He is a little hard to understand at first, but get over it, it's worth it. Take this class. You'll be surprised that Chem can be fun!!!

I love Dr.Baba! I love how in the middle of classes he breaks into discussions about Brittney Spears and Gilmor Girls! Gen Chem tests arent bad if you study, hes the easiest Gen Chem teacher! When I took class, his final was exact questions off the old tests. AWESOME!! PCHEM is super easy, and im not even that good at Chemistry, its basically a Gen Chem review!

Likes to tell you to study certain things, then fills his test with stuff not covered in class. Uses computer program to submit homework to him, and when the network was down, wouldn't accept the homework from me and several others. Very frustrating and hard to understand.
