I took this class for honors credits and all I can say is, avoid him if you can. Really unclear grading criteria, studying for quizzes is impossible, and loads of group projects. Avoid if you can.

Chaudhury is a great teacher if you are proficient at learning quickly. He goes over the Excel, Access, and theory lectures pretty quickly in class. If you can pick it up from those lectures, the class is a breeze. You get unlimited tries on the homework, and tests aren't graded harshly. You should get a good grade in this class.

Chaudhury is one of my favorite professors. You have to figure out a lot of Excel on your own but you get unlimited attempts which is helpful. Tests are extremely easy case studies and have no vocab memorization/multiple choice like other classes. A couple projects throughout the semester that are easy. Best ISA professor!

What a great man! I missed the huge presentation bc of personal reasons and he told me to not even worry about it! Great man, only thing is you got to do the work but his exams and case studies are easy and I know nothing about computers!

If CIS isn't your major, definitely take him. Easy professor, easy grader. Probably doesn't read half of our assignments just assigns various A's. He takes attendance but I'm not sure if he actually factors that in. As long as you do online homework's you will Ace the class. Worth the 8 am class if his other ones are closed

Easy class but has a hard time providing help. You need to go to class to understand the material and ACE will help with the homeworks.

Chaudhury is one of the easiest professors I've ever had. Raise your hand once or twice in class and sit in the front row and he will basically give you an A no matter what. I went into a test knowing absolutely nothing and I know for sure I got at least 25% wrong and I somehow ended up with a 94% even though there was no curve. TAKE THIS CLASS.

Chaudhury is the man! If you just want to get CIS 201 done with, but still become proficient in excel, Chaudhury is the professor to take. Very lenient on tardiness, decent grader, and is not hard to understand despite his accent. Class could get boring (especially at 8am!), but definitely worth it

Can be very hard to understand at times, especially if the subject matter isn't of interest to you. Used textbook very little. Nice but not super approachable, seemed like he didn't really like teaching the class. Gives all assignments far in advance and sticks right to the outlined syllabus.

This guy is very helpful. If your work is late, he will still let you do it for partial credit (which is better than a zero!). If you take your time out to talk to him, he will make sure you do well. Make sure you know your classmates so you can work together on the assignment... it'll help you tremendously!

Professor Chaudhury is actually a really helpful and cool guy, his class is so easy its rediculous but he gives alot more work than the other CIS prof's. I recommend taking the class as a night class and with people you know so you can do the work together...my best class as far as grades tho.

Worst teacher I've had at Bryant and in my entire life. No help at all. Doesn't know how to do the functions he requires. His notes are barely legible and look more like icons than words. Nothing is consistent and does not follow sylabus. I hate him with the fire of a thousand suns. DO NOT TAKE.

He was a great teacher, I would recommend taking him unless you require your classes to be exciting. The classes were boring, but I still learned the material. He was flexible and willing to help.

Not a good Professor. No one could follow his notes and tests were very difficult because his questions are very unclear, did not reflect the material covered in class at all, and he grades the exams very oddly. Would not take him if you have the choice.
