Adair's class can be one of the more confusing ones. He's very familiar with technical theatre and it can challenging to keep up if you are completely green. Start assignments early in order to ask a lot of questions(you'll need to) and he's very willing to help but you have to ask! Always stay on Adair's good side, it will help you in the long run

Adair is by far one of the best professors I have ever had. At times a bit scatterbrained, his enthusiasm and genuine belief in his students is second to none. His classes will truly prepare you for the real workd of technical theatre with his emphasis on hands-on work. No question is a stupid one, he will personally make sure you understand.

Adair is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to technical production. However for all his knowledege he is always willing to hear you out if you might have a better way. All too few teachers are willing to give you that much latitude. The dynamic in 245 is the best I have had in any class at Queen;s
