Right off the bat he tells you what he wants. If you do the reading and follow the guidelines he outlines for the essay you're good. Sometimes it was difficult to write the essay but it was worth it because i have definitely became a better writer. Also he lets the students lead the discussions he will speak up to clarify a thought or input an idea

An excellent discussion leader. He's easy to relate to, funny, and he doesn't ask much of his students. Complete the required reading each week, write a 2-3 page essay and you're golden.

He's a good teacher because he definitely knows what he's talking about, but it's a lot of work. It's not necessarily hard it's just time consuming especially if you want an A in the class. I worked really hard and consider myself a good writer and got mostly B's

Adam is awesome, so unfortunate that he won't be here next year. The reading is intense, but was well worth it. Adam was able to accomplish something that I assume most teachers only hope for: he inspired.

We read Jact the Ripper, the class was interesting and kind of fun. There's a good amount of writing but mostly revisions. Adam is very helpful and cool.
