I found this class boring. The instructor was too all over the place and unclear about his expectations. If you find your personality doesn't mesh with his at first think about trying another teacher, it just got worse for me as the quarter progressed. I was offended by some of the things he said during lecture.

this class was wonderful. adam was very clear and helpful, aproachable during office hours and via email, and gives sound advice. the assignments are reasonable. he gives good advice and is fair. a fun class.

Good guy. Leaves excellent feedback on papers, and has a good sense of humor. Very approachable in office hours and will give you lots of good advice on how to improve. Oh, and he slightly resembles Ron Howard. That was amusing.

He is the best English professor I ever had! He is very energetic, super nice and always keeps the class disccussion interesting. He is also veyr helpful during office hour. I strongly recommend you to take him if you have the chance! Trust me, you will not regret it. He is easy too!

Intense man....hmmm....what else can i say....oh i know! INTENSE! Good teacher. Enthusiastic. This is also a good course. Moves slow enough so you understand but never boring. Walks you through the process of writing a research paper.
