If you ask him for help, he is more than happy to give it to you. He stayed after class to help me for two hours after a class on a Friday. He is a very good and interesting guy. I liked him a lot as a teacher

Sometimes gets off on tangents and confuses you, but if you read the chapter and come to class and get extra help when needed you'll be ok. He cares a LOT, more than any teacher I've had here. Do not miss quiz though, because he does not drop one like most teachers do and there's a quiz weekly.

I have yet to see a more passionate, qualified teacher. He genuinely wants every one of his students to love programming as much as he does. He does not require attendance, but holds students personally accountable for their grades. So show up and do what you're supposed do in class, and you will do fine (w relatively little work outside class).

Professor Vergot was very helpful with the material HE was teaching. He wanted the students to learn and did so in a fun and intriguing manner. However, had I not taken calc in high school, I would be extremely unprepared for Math 110. He did not teach any calc concepts that my current Math 110 calc professor expected us to know on the first day.

DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS. He is awful and a horrible teacher and will confuse you. He only gives quizzes that are worth 10 points and if you fail one of the quizzes it brings your grade down and he gives you no other ways to bring your grade up. You know a teacher is bad when students are asking for homework to bring their grades up.

His class was one of the easier classes that I've had to take at this university. He is willing to meet with anyone who has a question. He will even help you with your personal computer problems if you ask him too. Just listen to what he has to say in class and read the highlighted words in the text and you'll be fine.
