Totally disengaged form teaching. I hear that he only cares about teaching grad courses. I am sure he would rather have a research grant than teach. Never answers a direct question, and usually gives you a "deer in headlights" look. Only taking him again in 2450 to ensure continuity between the courses. Would NEVER willingly take him again.

His lectures are really clear and he explains the material really well. His exams are a bit tricky so make sure you know the material really well. The problem sets are helpful but only to a certain extent. He is a fair marker. You will probably hate him rate after your exam.

His teaching was ok. He mostly used the text book. His exams were fair. I suggest that look at the mid-term questions before the final exam. He would use one question in midterm in final exam.

Do the problem sets and appendix questions he mentions, as the exact same questions will show up on the midterm and exam. Very good prof, teaches at a good pace and gives people the opprotunity to understand the material. If you work of the grade, you'll definitely earn it. key word, EARN. Highly recommended prof.

Midterm had 30% class average and he did not curve. Final worth 100% if do better than midterm. His lectures are interesting and he follows the textbook very closely which is good because no notes online. His final was a lot easier with no surprises.

Regurgitated the textbook in class. Hardly added any insight/explanations. Midterm/final avgs. were below 50%. Does curve by a generous amount. Exams are very selective. They dont cover 1/20 of the material covered in class. If you want to learn, I'd recommend staying away.

Very good prof, goes at a very good pace and tries to give the students a chance to keep up with the material. Do his past midterms/finals, they really help with the exams, in fact its not uncommon for him to reuse past examples so knowing how to do them goes a long way.

If you understand derivatives and basic microeconomic comcepts you'll be fine.Memorizing things won't help you in this course, you have to really understand the material. If you do, you will get high mark for sure.
