I am in my 5th year of studies now, and I can honestly say that Ali was one of the best instructors I have ever had. She created a warm learning environment that was pleasant and very interesting. She's the best!

Talk about good riddence. She didn't give a damn about the class, and it showed. Never had work back when she stated she would. Never gave clear enough instructions (and I got a good mark). Unless you were one of her "favorites" (suck-ups) then you basically sat there wondering what she was going to do next. Scolded the class unnecessarily.

Aili is an amazing teacher. She brings a huge amount of knowledge and experience to the class. She makes an extremely difficult subject understandable and helps students to accomplish something they probably never thought they could (ie a huge research project all by themselves!!)

A darn good teacher. Don't think you'll be able to fluff your way through easy marks, but this is one of the rare classes where you truly can get volumes of information that is directly relevant to your interests, if you put in a proportional amount of effort into the class.

Aili is very helpful, approachable and fair. She genuinely cares about her students. I'm glad she teaches this class, the material is dry but she makes it tolerable! Assignments and tests are straightforward and she goes through the answers with you afterwards. I highly recommend Aili as a prof!
