Seems unorganized & goes through info out of order, but everything you learn is interesting & she's very easy going. Doesn't reply to emails quickly.If you have perfect attendance she bumps your grade by half of a letter grade. Taking detailed notes in class are essential, since that is the only way to obtain info on the test.

reviews are done before tests she offers lots of extra credit very confusing on what info you are to retain and her grading seems to be all over the place and she sometimes seems that she doesn't have a clue whats going on and what your presented doesnt seem to coincide in time or with other info. but the class is informational and worth your time

DO NOT TAKE HER! Not willing to help you out at all. You read from 3-4 novels at one time along with a textbook, movies also. Will not let you know what is on the tests, no study guides. 3 tests total. expects you to wear a nametag(are we in kindergarten again)Other teachers for the same class teach quite differently.SHE'S BAD NEWS.

She will not tell you what are on the exams even a day before, you ask her and her respond will be just read all the books, half way thru the semester more then half of the class dropped since more then 75% of were failing, if you get a "A" in your exams it doesnt matter you still fail if she feels you dont debate enough

At first, the class was tough. I'm not much of having a strong opinion, and thats what the whole class is based on, so make sure everything you do has a very clear, strong argument. After I took stances on every paper I did, etc. I did great. I'm ending up with an A in the class, but for a while I wasn't thinking I'd be in the A range. Argue Argue!

Only problem I've had so far, is not recieving any of my homework back after 5 weeks of waiting. Other than that, I'd just reccomend to be very active in class. Also, her class is 'green' oriented, and what she does teach of english, is taught very quickly so pay attention.

Prepare to debate and not learn a thing about English! You earn extra credit by going to one of her protests. I leaned nothing from her. The class was completely annoying. It's more Native American studies than it is EN111.

GREAT professor. I was a little thrown off by the book list at first, but it was a great class. You learn alot about english, but its interesting while you do it. She doesnt have the typical approach. My favorite college prof thus far. Shes also very helpful and really wants you to learn. AWESOME
