Bigelow is a fantastic writing professor. The entire semester is one big group project, which was kind of a set back. There is NO page limit on his papers, which was awesome. He is a fair grader but is an extremely awkward human being altogether. We spent most of the class laughing at him, not with him.

Incredibly intelligent, strict but very fair professor. Compared to other profs his workload is light but he makes it count. Only downsides are his extreme awkwardness, speech as fast as a hummingbird flaps his wings and uses lots of 'Al-isms', and he never changes his clothes. I took a tally. 47 days from the start of class without a single change

Every single thing I learned in his class has helped me with all my writing assignments in my other classes. Keep the MLA handbook it's extremely helpful. If you ever have the chance to have him take the class.

he is a good teacher and likes to help out. hes kinda goofy but it makes the class a little less boring. he lets you work in groups which is fun. he will let you rewrite & hand in late!! all you have to do is say you wanted to make it better. he wants you to get a good grade & will help you to do so. not too bad of a class & can be kinda fun

I absolutely love him! He is awesome! I wish that more professors were in his league. I have been in two of his classes so far and I would love to take more in the future. He is different and kind of goofy and that is what captures my attention. When professors are enthusiastic about what they teach, students learn! Love him!
