Awesome guy. Takes the time to help out students. Treats his students as equals, meaning he won't talk down to you like many professors do. I almost came away with an A in his class. It was my fault I didn't. His quizzes are easy just make sure you're in class. Besides, his classes truly are not boring. Definitely recommend this professor.

Don't believe the hype! I chose his class because of the ratings on here, but it was a bad choice. His notes are disorganized and most of the time irrelevant and his tests are hard and are more about memorizing than actually learning anything. One of the most frustrating teachers i've had so far.

I studied abroad in Australia with Bures after taking one of his classes, and he is by far the best professor Radford has to offer. Very compassionate and truly cares about students. I recommend taking the time to get to know him.

my favorite teacher at radford so far. Very caring and understanding. I got an A, but i worked for it. Memorize your notes and read the book! Also, don't miss assignments, they really bring down your grade, so make sure you're always there.

Absolutely clear if you bother to pay attention. Don't waste your money on the film book. We have only used it twice...the first he let you write the info down on notebook paper and the second he photocopied it. he drops 2 or 3 missed grades anyways.
