Comment:

Went too much into detail, and not enough into practical graphics programming. Does not allow cheatsheetsnotes on exams, yet expects you to remember PAGES of text and ENTIRE functions. Assignments take too much time, and he literally LOVES to give out work (he literally said this). I'm good at programming and still had a hard time in his class.

This was a very challenging course, but Dr. Alan Benander took the time to explain difficult concepts sot aht we could understand it. He was very patient and very, very funny in class. He is a natural teacher, and one of the few who actually care about students. Dr. B. is the best!

one of the worst in business. shabby professor. knows more about base ball and his dog Smiley rather than his subject . So if you want to learn about Smiley take his course and waste your hard earned money.He Sucks !

I had Dr. Alan Benander for CIS 335 and CIS 260, he's one of my favorite teachers on campus. Takes a very dry subject (Computer Science) and adds a little humor. Don't be fooled though, it may be fun, but it's not always easy.
