Good teacher, for most of the semester he will lecture over articles or small readings that he'll ask you to read, but there is work connected to it. There will be a few papers to do in between Near the end is where the projects come into play. You'll be given a project to do volunteer work, participate in a group debate at the end.

Worst professor I've ever had. Homework does not reflect the material seen on the tests. Repeatedly ignored students requests for clarification and supplementary materials. Rude. Showed no interest in teaching the students. The only online offering is with this professor. Recommend taking the class at another school.

Just going to give you a set up of this online course and you can decide for yourself if you want to take it. Wiley HW with 10 chances, no video help, and you have to get a 90% to get credit at all-run out of chances and you're sol. No notes/book on tests and they do not directly relate to the material. First class I have ever had to drop.

A lot of students are saying his tests are impossible, but that is not the case at all. Just because his tests are not black and white students here think they are too hard. Every single one of his exams are fair and he curves them. He is extremely intelligent and always ends each example with "questions?" I would take him again in a heart beat.

Do NOT take this professor if you can avoid it! I am an A average student. This class was full of Cs for me because the tests were nothing like the homework/lectures we went over. I even had a tutor and still worried about just passing this class when i went into the final. His emails are not helpful IF he replies.

Worst teacher at ISU. This class was taken online over the summer and he couldn't care less about it. He never helped when questions arose. He didn't always reply to emails. He obviously did not care about how much students learned and would not interact at all. Very short unhelpful email responses. Hated this class.

Curves tests but would not survive without them. Five test (drops one) and a cumulative final, all open answer problems. Lectures, exams, and homework do not cover same material. Bearable but would not recommend unless required.

His exams are the hardest exams I have ever taken for a course! They did not reflect the homework whatsoever and were very confusing questions. I recommend taking the course in class with him and not online. He could probably offer more help in person than he was able to offer via email. Difficult course overall.

Whoever keeps saying his tests aren't hard is WRONG. His test are super hard and they do not reflect the homework whatsoever. I spend my ENTIRE weekend studying hard for his test and can't even make a B. He also seems bias towards non-accounting majors.

I think that he is one of the better teachers at ISU. He makes accounting as fun as one can. I also don't think that he has a dry personality. If you go to class, attempt the homework and read the chapter you'll get a good grade in this class.

If you have to take accounting, this guy is probably your best route and thats not saying much. Weekly homework doesn't help, because his tests rarely cover things the homework does. Tests are very hard and what he covers in class never seems to be a large portion of the test. You have to study the book, and study hard. He is a pretty nice guy, very dry personality though. Expect to get a B or C with hard work.

Dr. C is a pretty cool professor. Even though I hate accounting, he made it interesting. You get to drop your lowest test grade too. I'd take him over anybody else!

Dr C is super nice, and is as helpful as possible. I always understood what was going on in class but his tests are CRAZY hard. He does let you drop 1 of 4, and there is a full test worth of homework. He's the only prof that teaches this class right now. So, it is what it is.

I think he honestly tries to explain things clearly. However, the E Grade System is more of a burden than a helper. It's sections are so long and confusing. I appreciate the efforts he's made to "break" everyone into the somewhat confusing E
