He makes it easier to understand. It is easy to see him after class or during office hours. Only a midterm and final, 50% each of your final grade. This sounds daunting but if you go to his review session and see him in office hours getting an A is doable. He gives review sheets for only the midterm. He uses the textbook for practice problems.

He is the MAN. So nice and funny and genuinely wants everyone to do well. You don't really need the textbook for stats1 but it helped me to have it. You get a cheat sheet for exams and his review sessions are super helpful. If you have any problems or need help he is always there. Def take him if you have the chance.

Tests are easy if you attend the review session before the exams. The project he makes you do he makes it seem harder than it really is. This guy is a genius and definitely a nice funny guy. Do not be too overwhelmed by his lectures because the exams are clear cut. He just wants to show you the whole picture of a concept. Do not buy textbook!

great professor for stat 1 amd 2, just take notes, sometimes you will doze off. but he goes over everything multiple times, makes sure you grasp the concept first and its cake from there, practice his review sheets and your guaranteed an A

This is a great teacher. Spent many years with big pharma. Work hard on day one. Go for extra help. He will call down to the support center to talk to a tudor. He will respond to email with answers. You can trust this teacher is an honest Joe.

Don't be lulled into a false sense that he is easy. If you've had stats recently, then you're good, just write down the name of every statistician he says--they'll be on the quizzes. I took him for graduate stats in the MBA program. His teaching was all over the place and you never knew what was going on. However, his tests were just like the review sheets and he never put the real hard stuff on tests. Grade was the midterm, final an project.

Good class for a difficult subject. Dr. Fask makes the class enjoyable. Any stats class has difficult material. Dr. Fask relates some of it to real life. I highly recommend taking this class. Do the homework and review sheets. exams are exactly like the review sheets. Work load is very manageable. Do not use the text book ->only for reference.
