Nadel is an awful professor - he rants about whatever is on his mind that day and I can't honestly say that I learned anything from his class except that The Lady and the Tramp is not an innocent Disney movie, but rather a disgusting display of sexual interests. Nadel sucks - avoid him unless you like egotistical disgusting pig-headed males.

He teaches directly from the book in Art of the Film, and it's an easy A, but he does seem enthused about it. I'm taking Intro to Lit with him now... We'll see how that goes. I'm kind of worried.

Outstanding professor and class. He is an amazing lecturer and his last lecture about Fresh is truly remarkable. After taking this class you will never watch a movie the same way, unless you're a typical careless American.

I'll probably never have another class as easy as this one. Show up, read the book and don't act like an idiot and it'll be the easiest A you can get at RPI. He's a good guy and a good person to debate with. He rants sometimes, but they're more funny than annoying.

Good class, easy tests, no papers. Nadel's rants are interesting, though he presents his interpretations, albeit well informed interpretations, as facts. Don't take it pass/fail -- its such an easy A!

Possibly one of the worst profs I had at RPI, and I had some bad ones. I seriously doubt his credentials as a film teacher. It didn't seem like he knew anything that wasn't in the textbook. He also had no clue how to apply the principles he taught.
