This is most definately the worst class I ever took in my 4 years at two diff colleges. I was a straight A student and recieved a D in the class. Should you value your grade more than a "different" professor don't take this class.

I Loved this class!! It was by far very strange but he taught you something new everyday. It was a nice change from all the other routine classes you have to take. Easy A if you go to class, participate, and go to 4 after class presentations and write 1 pg reflections about what you thought of the lesson. TAKE HIM!!

This guy was a pain in my backside. I could not stand his way of teaching. He's a hippie and I did not learn one thing from his class. I wish I would have dropped this class while I still had a chance b/c I could have learned more from the Discovery Channel. Avoid him if you can.

We had to meditate, bow to one another and greet everyone with an Indian word or Shalom at beginning of class. Taught HIS idea of health which is very different. A self-proclaimed treehugger, he insists on being called Talks To Trees. No textbook; was required to buy his text and the book Seven Steps to Spiritual Success. Don't take him.

Sure, he has a lot of liberal political views, but he will not be offended if you disagree with him. He encourages it! Trees is a great proffessor! You will learn more in this class than you will in an entire year. He will help you get and stay healthy! By the way, no more tests, just do the daily 1pg reflections, its not too hard. TAKE HIM!

WAS THE WORST PROF. I HAVE EVER HAD. I AM A JUNIOR AND I HAVE NEVER HAD A CLASS THAT HORRIBLE OR A PROFESSOR THAT I DISLIKED MORE. HE TRIES TO PUSH HIS IDEAS ON YOU AND MAKE YOU BELIEVE EVERYTHING HE SAYS IS TRUE. DON'T FALL FOR IT, HE IS JUST FULL OF HIMSELF. SAVE YOURSELF DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS. YOU WILL REGRET EVERY MINUTE WITH HIM TRUST ME!

I did not like this calss at all. He tries to push his ideas on you and you gotta participate in class. Reflections each night sucks becuase he tears them apart. Dont take this class if you hate to hear everyone's dumb opinion i n class. Cool dude just to sit down and talk to one on one though

Trees is diffrent, thats for sure. There are no tests in his class anymore (some type of expiriment?). You have to do a pretty decent amount of outside writing for a good grade but its not hard. His grading is kind of weird, you have to make some office visits but overall its a good informative class. DO NOT TAKE THIS IF YOU ARE A REPUBLICAN

Possibly one of the best profs. on at IUP. Wants you to learn more about yourself and life then just random health facts. He respects everyone's oppinon as long as you can succesfully defend it. If you take him it will be a little harder than other profs., but well worth it. Offers tons of EC. the trees exp. is something u will always remember.

Noone diss talks to tress! I didn't like him when I had them. But looking back on it, I should have appreciated his class alot more. how many professors let you meditate before class?
