This guy. He teases on the first day that attendance is "mandatory," but that it's only 15% of your grade. So if you ace every test and do the extra credit, you can get an A without ever stepping foot in his class again. But he said it's never happened. So being in a hard major, I could live with a B. Just needed the course credit. Got an A :)

The class has three main components. Show up to lecture, Show up to your small group TA lecture and Online assignments. Showing up to the lecture gives extra credit. TA lectures grades you for attendance. Online assignments answers are direct quotes from the book. Look over his silent movie slides at the end of the week to view for tests. Easy A

The worst teacher I've ever had. His lectures are absolutely terrible. He ends up giving you random fun facts and stories than actually teaching. He sounds more like a bad tour guide than a teacher. You never know what to study for the tests, and the quizzes are just as bad. He does not allow laptops in class, but pro tip, hide in the back

If lectures, slideshows, and textbook reading is your style, then you'll be set! At first he seems like a pretty cold guy, but once you get into the course you can really tell he's a pro at what he does and enjoys it. No phones or laptops allowed in class you NEED to give the class your undivided attention or you will NOT pass, guaranteed!

I loved this prof! He always has a stone cold look when you ask him questions, but he's highly educated and wants his students to pass. Always answers my emails with clear responses. Very clear on when things are due and how things should be done. Much more organized than past profs I have had. I look forward to his lectures!

Very simple. First 3 classes are explaining the syllabus. He has a slide where he states that attendance is not mandatory. Buuuut, you can still get an A if you attend zero classes and get perfect scores on all exams and do the extra credit. I did this and got an A, so I wonder if he now has an asterisk on that slide or uses it as a scare tactic.

Professor Reischuck is man who is obviously passionate about art. however, his lectures are mundane, not to mention that he is a total jerk when it comes to asking questions. Anything you ask him he makes you feel stupid for not knowing the answer. I would not take him again because I really do not respect him.

Prof Reischuck is a good professor. He is an entertaining lecturer (he likes including memes in lecture slides). It is definitely not an easy A. There is a homework assignment and a quiz due every week and the exams are difficult. However, there are many extra credit opportunities. You have to get the textbook either online or a paper version.

Reischuck is an entertaining lecturer, and made Art History interesting. I liked him overall, however there is so much information to learn. By the end of the semester we had "lost lectures" we had to watch online in order to get all the information needed for the final. I wish it was condensed even more. I would take him again.

Prof. Reischuck requires a large amount of background information going into the course. I took this as a Kent Core class and I really regret it. His pop quizzes are almost impossible and he expects you to spend a minimum of 25 hours on the final paper which is rediculous.

Albert made my first semester here very stressful. He is very difficult. If you review for this tests, you'll be fine, but the problem with that is he gives so much readings and information that it is hard to take in. He expects you to memories over 70 paintings and know the artist and date but only ten appear on the test. Aggravating!

Albert was a great professor. The tests in this class however, were pretty challenging. If you don't read the 30 pages of homework he assigns, you're bound to fail the exams. Albert give tons of extra credit though! Go to every class because he totals your attendance at the end of the semester for extra credit. I raised my grade from a C to a A

Obviously cared about the subject and knew a lot about it. You have to actually apply effort if you want a good grade. A lot of points go into the pop quizzes he hands out, which you absolutely have to read the text to know. He'll pull details, not just main ideas. I feel like I learned a lot about the topic.

There is a lot to read and lots of homework, if you dont do it you wont pass. His tests are pretty though since you need to memorize 4 chapters of artwork and vocab. If you do not need the class dont take it. But he is an amazing teacher, explains well. His powerpoints are online, but he explains it in a different way in class

I absolutely HATED this class. It was so boring. If you dont read the chapters he assigns in the textbook, you will not pass the tests, and the amount of pages he makes you read each week is torturous. The only good thing about this class was my small group leader. Reischuck is the type to make jokes about his political stance WHICH IS SO ANNOYING.

Amazing lecturer! He really knows his stuff. So many people struggled in this class but I got nothing but A's. Honestly if I had gotten a 0% on the final I still would have had a 96 in the class. Fail proof if you are a good student.
