Awful experience. If youre an adult student who has never learned about algebra avoid this class. He seems interested in the young students who are familiar with algrbra yet failed. Dont ask questions. He will only ask the fresh out of h.s if they get it. H.w is never checked nor are your quizzes so you never know. Will need tutor 4 every class

Smart guy, however, had his favorites in class. Mistreated the foreign students in class. Did not like his attitude towards them at all. He's phony, and taught us Fractions and irrelevant subjects the whole semester!!! come on!

Professor Roy's querkiness makes every class more and more fun. By far the best math teacher I have ever had. He just knows how to hold your attention and his attention to detailing even for the simplest of minds is commendable.

Dr Roy is a really great math teacher. Ive failed this class before & I ended up getting an A- in his class!! He really loves what he does & cares for his students. At times he rambles & gets a little lost but all in all he's great! Go to EVERY class because there will be a simple quiz every class, pay attention you will do fine!

This teacher was so funny. He was real strange but it's just funny. He does rant about stuff when he's going through a problem but for that was good cause I would actually focus. His class was so easy and I would take him again if I had to. Just make sure you do your work, pay attention, and show up to class and you'll pass with flying colors.

This guy has to be the best Math teacher I've ever had...and I've had about 2 other really great MTH teachers here @ BCC but Roy takes the cake...simply because he's funnier, helps more, and the way the course is designed you cannot fail if you try. Mini Quiz everyday, do hw next day 2-4 problems on it, easy pasS!

A good professor, very helpful, very nice, he gets a bit eccentric later in the course (which is very amusing), and may go on long discussions about his daughter Amber or an intersting equation. He also gives mini-quizes eveday so it's a good idea to show up. The only problem I had with him were his notes. He usually just did problems on the board.

Dr. Roy was the best math teacher I have ever had. Hes an easy A if you do your homework. There is a quick 5 minute, 3-5 question quiz at the beginning of every class and as long as you understood what you learnt the class before, then your all set. I took Dr. Roy 3 times and I would take him again if I could!! Awesome teacher!!

This guy was really nice. He almost always let us go early. He gives you a quiz every class on the material you covered the week before. Sometimes he goes off on a rant about something, but for the most part hes right on track. Great teacher, great class i definitely recommend him.

The first five minutes of every class include a quiz where you can earn 3 out of 3 points. He allows 9 points for absences. These quizzes amount to 1/3 of your grade with the final and midterm as the other 2/3. Do your homework and you will do well. Plus he is very reasonable with the amount of homework. He's also a great teacher!

I don't know why people like this guy! He purposely tries to confuse his students! He makes 6-2 hard! I plan to speak with an administrator about his teaching technique, because that's how bad it was. He treats you like you're 6 and in college we don't need that! I do not recommend him at all! However if you're an El Ed major you're stuck with him!

Oh, if only all math teachers could be more like Dr. Roy. This man has a gift. It's incredible! If U can't get it from taking his class, give up. Yeah, he's that good. There's a one or two problem quiz daily (straight from the homework. he doesn't check it, but you ought to do it). U get 3 grades mid-term, final & average of quizzes no extra.
