He really knows the material and tries to make it interesting for students. He is very good at answering questions and expanding on topics. A fun class that taught me a lot, but it required a lot of work compared to other electives. Homeworks took a long time and a lot of work. Tests had some hard questions and required memorizing formulas.

Absolute yes if you want to have some fun stuff in your course. This course was not exactly a requirement for my field but ended up with no regrets. It was more like learning nature's phenomenon to the best of our capabilities and implementing the same behavior in our own systems. Feel free to chip in questions and expect satisfactory answers

Good lecturer. Well-versed in the topic, including history and background. Good at embellishing. Covered a lot of material throughout the term. Hint: Go overboard on the homework and don't assume anything. You have to impress the T/A to get a good grade. Gave handouts notes but no book. Take time to read the notes. Don't get behind.

U enjoy every moment of the class. I just love his assignements. It helps to get the basics right and develop a thorough understanding. The assignemnts are open ended too,giving the scope for experimenting.

Intelligent Systems was the one class I had an ABSOLUTE blast in. He made the material fun and was simple to understand. We enjoyed the assignments so much, most of us ended up doing much more than the assignments asked.
