OMG! I love her. She is very passionate about the subject and knows her stuff. Lectures may be boring but the class is an easy A. 3 tests and if you go to the review (class before the test) she'll tell you everything you need to know for it. She uses a sign in she for attendance and I never bought the book and never needed it.

This things that are learned in class are interesting. But the class itself is not great. She lectures all class..yawn.. and the only thing we do is look at slides and then 2 weeks later its a test. The test are annoying, its mostly memorization but the vocab is what you really have to study for. you have to know how its used and when its was used.

I fell in love with this course quickly. She clearly loves her job and it makes taking her class that much more enjoyable. I found it fascinating that she's seen in person most of art she discusses. Fabulous teacher and I recommend her highly. Also, the course isn't very difficult. Easy A.

Art History - One of the more dynamic and interesting series of lectures you will attend. It is clear she loves her field. Her teaching style invites you in and engages you with the topic. Once of my favorite classes.

Prior to enetering college, I took an art history class with a teacher I adored. So I was kind of bias before taking Schwehm. Though she was as wonderful as my previous instructor, I really did enjoy her class. Mrs. Schwehm seems to really enjoy teaching, and if you pay attention and take nots...easy A for you too!!!

Very enthusiastic teacher. You can tell she loves to teach just by listening to her discuss the material. She takes attendance, and uses the textbook. There were 3 big tests (no final) spread throughout the semester. They aren't hard as long as you take notes in class. She also assigns a few essays, but they also aren't too hard. Made an A.

I wasn't sure about Art History before, but after this class...I love it! Prof. Schwehm is fantastic, if you like to learn, you'll love this class. She really cares about her subject matter and takes questions during or after class if you can stick around. Tests are hard, but this course is terrific. A+

Prior to taking this class I was told that this would be an easy 'A' but that was not the case. There are many details that need to be grasped to do well. Prof. Schwemm is very in tune with Art History and has a real passion for it. I did think that the lectures were a bit boring because I found that I was not interested in the subject at all.

Lecture class. Pretty easy. No homework only 3 papers to turn in throughout the semester. I rarely read the book and still made a high A. She tells you what you need to know for the most part. Plus you don't need to memorize dates!

so boring i could barely stay in class when I came. READ THE CHAPTERS. that is your only hope. memorize the slides and artists. tests are weird. totally not about what her lectures are about. it all comes from the book. she gives these weird fill in the blank questions that make no sense.

I took this class because I had to, but I'm really glad I did. I have no interest in Art, but some of the stuff was really interesting. Everyday (except for test day) is the same. She lectures, you look at a bunch of slides, and you're out in an hour. She is really nice and the tests aren't bad if you pay attention to the lecture! I Recommend her!

This is a standard introductory class with an AWESOME instructor. She is truly fascinated by Art History and clearly shows it every single class. She knows her stuff, loves her students and is always nice, fair, and reasonable. The tests are not too hard and the critiques assigned are straightforward. I would definitely recommend this class.

completely awsome teacher. she knows whats shes talking about and shes passionate about it, and that comes across in class. her tests are fair and come directly from the notes and slides. the papers are easy as long as you give yourself a day or so. even if you dont like art, youd like this class. ive never really been an artsy person, but i loved this class.

the essays that were required were on a grading system that had nothing to do with the course. so if you stink at english, you're screwed. also, ms. schwehm failed to respond to me when i attempted to make up a test because i was ill, because of that i failed the entire course. she is not responsive whatsoever.
