She was very nasty. It didn't matter how well I did in my coursework, she was cruel and told my boyfriend(!) who has since graduated from the program that she thought I would never succeed in research because I wasn't "serious". I have a 3.93 grade point but I have a fear of public speaking and tend to be pretty shy.
