Comment:

Dr. Rahrooh is my favorite professor I have ever had. His courses are tough, but that because of the content. He explains it very well and he is ALWAYS willing to help. He is a tough grader, but that because if you don't do well on the tests/quizzes, its your own fault for not reviewing the material he provides. Best teacher for the course by far.

Has two types of lectures. One reviews the chapter and is very boring .The other is where he covers the math. These lectures are essential. All tests and quizzes come from the lectures and are similar to the ones covered in class. Book is pretty good but has a lot of mistakes. Lab that goes with course is pretty fun and compliments the lectures

Be prepared to study. This is not an easy class. Make sure to study the practice tests, but also review all of the homework problems -- he uses them for exams. Good classroom demeanor. Professor was very approachable and extremely encouraging. An A on the final exam = an A for the class. Hang in there and study, and it is possible to get an A.

Prepared to study from the book and learn this course on your own. The professor is awful at explaining anything and the worst part is that he's the only professor that teaches this course. I've been going to Valencia for 2 years and I've taken 2 Digital classes which discusses similar circiulum. The professors at Valencia were 10x better.

You need to know your material before taking his classes. He is very difficult but that's because the classes he teaches are the hardest in the program. He is very helpful if you ask for help, otherwise he assumes you know everything. His classes are those classes that you really have to study for and can't just ride though.

Really interested in you understanding the material. Will go over every homework problem if you want him to. I took in to summer so it was a little more difficult to sit through 3 and half hour classes. Pay attention and act like you care. The labs are ridiculous, I had no idea how to use the equipment so I had a tough time there.

I'd have to say..at first, it was a nightmare. In all reality he actually pulled through and helped us out at the very end. In a split second, he went from unfair to fair as far as his grading. His test are very difficult, but he is more than willing to help if called apon. I would recommend him, but it requires a lot of work on your end.

Well, where do I begin. This class was horrendous. Agreed, he does know his stuff. His tone was very monotonous thus hard to give full undivided attention. His reviews never even reflected the tests and the tests themselves seen to come out of nowhere. I would not recommend him to anyone who wants to keep a good GPA without retaking the class.

Dr. Rahrooh is very fair, and is an extremely nice guy. He cares about your success, the caveat is that YOU need to care too. He will only help those who want and seek it actively. The final exam was pretty damn difficult, but I learned quite a bit in this course. His lectures are OK, but be sure and use the book too.

Dr. Rahrooh is an amazing professor...he really knows what he is talking about and enjoys his subject. Don't tick him off though beacuse he can make the 3 hour class drag on. He's very helpful and everything is straight forward. Tests are very difficult even with the sample exams. Study hard and see him in his office hours for help.

He seems to know the material but as far as presentation of the information it is not always that clear. All tests seems to be created by someone else. The class seems a bit confusing even for someone that has taken some electricity and electronics courses as well as had some expierence in the workfield of Computers. All I can say is -- good luck
