Really good prof, keeps the class engaged uses great real world examples on daily basis, marks hard on tests but if you take the time to understand the course that isn't an issue. Pay attention and read the book is enough to achieve a great grade. Very personable professor.

He's a great guy and very helpful. Don't text in class or show up late. Tests are multiple choice but there is a 20 page group project (wasn't hard). Fairly easy course if you just read the book.

Allan is a funny guy. He uses all multiple choice for a test which can be tricky at times. He is good at teaching what he teaches and tries to make it interesting even though the information is kind of dry. There are no presentations if there is over 70 in the class. I do suggest taking him.

I didn't like Allan Fraser as a professor because he was very inflexible in his marking, and he put a large emphasis on group work. He chooses your group members, and you have to do a 20 page paper. If your group members suck you are screwed. He would be a fairly difficult professor even without the ridiculous group work. Very frusterating professo

allen was my distance prof and he was terrible! he refused to return my emails concerning grades on past cases. i started emailing about a case on march 16 because the second case was due the following week and they were almost identical. after 3 more emails and threatening to go over his head he emailed me back today...the class was over14days ago

I had Allan as a prof when I took Industrial Relations through distance. I found him laid back, and honest with his feedback of assignments that made me do better on them. If he is going to be teaching competitive strategies then, definitely take him before choosing Doug for that course.

well it is a boring course but Allan does his best to make it fun. It' easy to get a good mark in this class, espesically if you do well on your mini-assignments. You literally take no notes in this class, all you do is highlight the book. EVERYTHING on the tests come from the books, so know it well!!!

He was a good professor. The only thing I did not like about Canadian Business was the group work because it was worth 30% of the mark. And my group members were total flakes. If you do not want to get stuck picking up the slack for group members maybe another course would be better.

Canadian Business, awesome prof, always told stories about sydney mines, it was a great class, fair marker and easy assignments, for an easy class i learned alot.
