Great prof. Very helpful and usually available outside class times. If you start the assignments early to give yourself time to sort out the problems, you should be fine. Also, he gives a rough outline of the midterms, which makes them much easier to study for. Take this class, you will know your econ after.

Not helpful at all. No practical ag background to back up theories & should not teach ag. Weak with ag industry connections. Likes to make exams longer than time allowed to write. Arrogant towards students that question his theories & penalizes their marks. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Allan thinks that all students in his class are trying to get a Ph.D. in economics. Any class within the econ department will kill your desire to learn. The department makes you want to drop out of school because of an inability to achieve a DESERVED mark.

Take a class with this guy if you think your GPA is too high. He doesn't test what he teaches, plus with no lab your screwd for the practical apllications professor. I had to withdraw cause the course was going to sink my GPA.

Students struggle to finish stupid long test, and he said it was fun to watch students who's under time pressure. What he teaches in class is quite different with the exam. His speciality is in agriculture, I don't know why he's teaching econ 3030, don't even know how to teach.

Very hard teacher, does not want to see his students succeed. Tests are very unfair and he is not clear on what is expected. Will go through supposed examples and then put questions that are ten times harder on the test. Class is very boring and very hard to keep focused. Take another class!
