Condescending and not very pleasant to hear her lecture. Once told a student who made a study guide for the class that his actions were "disturbing".

I'm a biology major, so I'm well accustomed to difficult classes and adequately preparing for them. Nash is a very disorganized professor; she flies through sloppy slides, and meticulously words test questions so that central points are overshadowed by tiny variations in syntax. Had a horrible time, studied hard for a C. Wouldn't ever recommend.

Nash is a great person. Sweet and understanding. You have to work for your grade though. She tests on concepts not pure memorization so you just have to know your stuff. I got an A in both her psych stat and research methods class.

Nash is a great professor. She is great at explaining subject matter and incorporates a lot of videos into her lectures. Powerpoints are a great reflection of exams, but as always you should read the text for specifics. Only thing I would say is she is very particular about short answer q's, so just know what you're talking about & explain it well.

Never take this lady, EVER. is barely available when you show up to her office hours, is rude and condescending, and materials, forget about it as clear as mandarin, the book teaches better than this lady. This woman made me hate the Psychology major, period.

Nash would be better off as a third grade teacher, because that's how she treats her college students. She is very kind and understanding of students' needs, but I am endlessly frustrated in her class; she often lets it out late, repeats material over and over, and gets confused by questions. I would NOT recommend Nash if you have half a brain.

Dr. Nash is one of the best teachers I've had at New Paltz. She is caring, kind, and funny. She teaches the material very clearly and goes over everything you need to know, and will help you with anything you need. I took both stats and research methods with her because I loved her so much!

This professor is by far the BEST professor in the whole world. Out of all of the teachers I have had she is the best. For example, she is understanding, caring, and helpful, quirky and funny. She is an absolute joy to be around. I am taking Research Methods with her right now because I love her so much. Love you Nash<3

She is the best professor I have ever had. These reviews scared me when I first saw them but ignore all of them! She helps you will everything and clarifies anything you have a question on. She doesn't want you to just plug in numbers but the meaning behind them also.

People are trashing her on here but Dr. Nash is the nicest lady ever. She is a great teacher and really wants you to understand the material. Some people do not like the fact that she focuses more on concepts than your ability to do math for her stats class. If you pay attention you will do just fine.

I was a little worried about taking stats with Nash after reading her reviews. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I liked her. She is a little bit out there, but she is extremely helpful and kind to her students. Her tests focus on knowing and understanding concepts. Lab clarifies everything. I would definitely recommend her.

Took her for stats and wasn't impressed. She focused more on writing sentences then practicing problems, which might be good for some. Little to no HW assigned but study your ASS off for tests and quizzes. She's tricky and asks the same questions in different ways. She's kind of spaced out and eccentric but has a good amount of energy.

I was wary of taking this class upon reading the other entries. I thought this class was pretty good; Professor Nash seems like an awesome lady and I thought she did an above-adequate job at teaching a somewhat complicated subject. Tests and quizzes are based on the concepts, and lab really helps to clarify. Overall, I would recommend this class.
