Professor Rose is great! There are quite a few writing assignments over the articles you read for the class, but she gives you time in class to go through each one and really understand it before you write the paper. The material is interesting, and the grading is pretty easy, as long as you do the work.

She reminds me of a kindergarten teacher, but not in a patronizing way at all - just caring and informative, although quiet. Her research is very interesting, the class was fun, and she's pretty open students presenting their own views and ideas or discussions.

She's a terrific teacher, and she does interesting research centered on children's friendships. I loved her class (so did my non-psych major friends), and she's a caring, interesting, and dedicated teacher!
