I had to take this for my major (arch.) and I went in to thinking I was gonna hate it but I ended up liking it! We even got to go to NYC to the MET to see the art we talked about in class. One of the easiest classes I've taken, she is super nice on the exams.

Amy is great, you can't go in with an attutide of "its art history and its boring". Think of it as Amy showing a piece, and then telling the story of tha piece. Someone said "wrong information". Untrue, she is very intelligent and knows exactly what she is talking about. She is great. But her class is NO cake walk.

you can tell she has a lot of info somewhere in her head, but sitting through an hour of trying to listen to her put it in comprehensive sentences is torture. instead of explaining the meanings and history, most explanations consisted of a listing of the objects in the artwork. the grading is not standardized at all.

Her classes got me to love art history. She really knows her art and if you're having trouble with something, just ask and she'll help you out. Always read the syllabus to check for impending deadlines, she doesn't always warn you when there's something important due at the next class! And always make flash cards before tests, it helps immensely!
