i had portwood as my basic comp teacher here in new brun. i didnt even know she's a hist prof there in nwk til the last time i talked to her. a kick ass professor. makes u understand things fully. good persona [that helps in teaching]. i wish i have her in expos. that or there outta be more profs like her.

A great professor, although she gives TONS of reading, her lectures are funny and entertaining, and she only assigns 3 papers a semester. As long as you write well, a B+ is easy to get, an A is a little bit of a push, but still possible.

really good teacher. read the book do good on quizzes and set to get a B or B+, but an A is almost next to impossible, unless you happen to know her. She doesnt have mercy for international studnets, she expects them to know American history and write papers accordingly. Avoid her if ni knowledge if American history, take her if u know. your call.
