This was literally the hardest class I've ever taken. She does a really poor job explaining the material to you in class and I did not understand anything she taught whatsoever.

She's very nice, but sometimes not that clear. There isn't a ton of homework, but they take an insane amount of time and she grades them kind of arbitrarily. There's almost always a curve on the tests, which is nice, but even when you do well you don't actually feel like you know the material. She offers some extra credit and is available for help.

Comment:

Great person, and she really cares about each student if you try. She is sometimes confusing in her lectures but the class itself is not very difficult. Make sure to Ace the first test, participate a lot, and do the online quizzes/homework and youll be fine. I was super lost with Macro and got a B+ in this class.

good good teacher. Very helpful and easy to understand. Make sure to participate in class and review notes daily and you will get an A. ( coming from someone who got a C- in the MicroEcon....)

I really can't complain about Prof Schmidt. She is so helpful if you go to office hours. Yes, you have to READ the textbook, and her lectures get a little dry, but she wants you to succeed. Overall, very interesting and pretty easy class.

Her classes are very difficult to follow, and she makes the material very difficult to understand. Also, she seems to get upset when people ask questions about her confusing material. Stay FAR away from her class!

She doesn't use the text book at all in her lectures, but she tries to help you get the concepts by showing them to you in real life. So make sure you read the text book before class. Online exercises are super important. If you don't understand anything, go to her office to ask for help. She is also a very easy teacher and tester. I love her.

She's really smart, but she was not always a professor, so she's still new to teaching. she loves a student who is dedicated and make sure you dont text. her tests are pretty easy and she scales them up to 12 pts which is nice. i liked her a lot
