I mostly took this class for the GE but I ended up actually enjoying it. We only had to write a couple of papers, but she is a very fair grader. Lots of reading and quizzes, but not overly difficult. Great professor, she is very entertaining and helpful if you ask.

Professor Smith was awesome! She is really nice and funny. However, I thought I deserved an A on everything that I turned into her and she gave me a B+ for every paper. Other than that, she is a really good professor and is accessible outside of class for questions. There's a killer group project at the end!

Easily one of the most useful classes I've taken at Pacific. Smith is clear, ready to help, and wants you to come out of it with useful skills. She does her best to make sure everyone's needs are met, and she won't be afraid to be honest with you. If you ever have questions, her office hours are more than helpful.

Smith knows a lot about her subject, and she is very clear about her expectations. You will have to work to get A's, but you won't be confused about it and you'll have some good writing done by the end

took her drama and the community course, and it really was a joke. I dont blame her, i shouldnt have taken that one but it was the only open one when i registered. I disliked having to volunteer for a charity and writing a 20 page paper, in the end she was understanding, and i liked her, even though i disliked the material.

Really understandable and clear about what she wants as well as instruction. She hates cell phones so don't even think about texting. She also seems pretty open minded, which is great. She knows what she is doing and is very fair even if she seems harsh at first.

yay for Amy Smith! I've taken 3 classes with her and they were all great. But her Eng. 25 and Jane Austen were easier than the Brit. Lit class

One of the best professors I ever had! Took 2 of her classes. Very pleasant and asks for students opinions for class decisions (assignments, etc). Always listens to student input and CARES. Very smart. You will be very happy if you take her classes. She is truly a great asset to UOP and I admire her intelligence and approach to teaching.

Professor Smith is awesome. She's always willing to answer questions and help out. Plus, she doesn't make class tedious. Everything she lectures about is related to the assignments. No mid-term or final, but you will work.

Smith seems like she's going to be difficult but she really is very knowledgeable and funny. Discussion is somewhat a turn off, but that's because it's a lower-division English class.
