Super easy HON101 class! I read about half of the required readings and have been doing super well. For the essays, she lets you choose which book you want to source. Meaning, you don't technically have to read them all.

Dr. Wolf was an amazing HON101 Professor! I really enjoyed her class, which consisted of a lot of reading, a few long essays, and discussions in class. She was a very fair grader and helped us understand what the meanings of our readings were. She is wonderful and I would recommend anyone to take her class.

Dr. Wolf is by far my favorite english professor yet. She only gave three major essays throughout the semester, and even those were easy and short. A lot of reading but the stories are very interesting

Amy Wolf is a great professor! She is very helpful and kind, and I would recommend her to anyone. It's a 101 course so the class material is not that bad. We read interesting books, such as Maus, The things they carried, Beloved, etc. I honestly only read Maus and Beloved and still was able to particiapte in the class and write the essays. NO TESTS

While she was friendly and kind, Dr. Wolf's teaching made for what I felt was a very frustrating class. Discussion is good, but just allowing people to throw ideas (sometimes incorrect) out there is useless. It felt like high school English all over again. She's an easy grader, but overall I barely learned anything of substance in that class.

Fairly easy grader. No tests! Lots of class discussions. Raise your hand and say anything about the topic at hand b/c she is very encouraging and open-minded. The books are pretty interesting: Beloved, Maus, Bel Canto, The Things They Carried, Dien Cai Dau, and The Woman Warrior plus a few short stories. Four major essays and lots of one-pagers.

She is a fair grader, but the class discussions are treachery. You can basically say anything random about the books we read, and she will agree with you on them. The writing assignments are decent.

Amazing teacher. She was super nice and friendly. Papers were not overly hard. Just make sure you keep up with reading because class discussion is big. She is very open to any idea that you have and will never tell you that your wrong or don't know what your talking about. Highly recomended.

Good professor, you have to do the reading though because the class is just a discussion, very big on participation. Three very easy essays and a very easy grader. I would take her again for a class.

Awesome teacher. I'm looking to take another class with her just so that she can be my professor again. She genuinely cares about what the students walk away from the course with, not just how well they can regurgitate answers. As a side note, definitly the best looking professor at Canisius.

Decides whether she likes you or not on the first day of class. Very impressed with herself. Quite a phoney. Confusing class, jumps around alot and easy to get off track if you haven't read the tons of materials. Even so, I anticipate an "A" because she is young and eager.

Dr. Wolf is a great professor. The work load is very light and requires reading and some short essay responces. The hardest part are the four essays which aren't that hard and she gives you plenty of time to work on them. Very nice and always willing to help you. Definetely recommend her!
