This class was the absolute worst class I have have ever taken. One of the biggest regrets I have. This course killed my G.P.A, not just the absurd grades she gives, but the ridiculous amount of time this class consumes. Avoid her at all costs.

Inexplicably ignorant and unreasonable. There is no logic nor consideration behind her reasoning. Grading is completely inconsistent and the percentages deducted from quality work is absolutely unacceptable. Spent far too many hours on this "intro" course for minimal results. Refuses to listen, as well as answer questions, and RUINED my semester.

Professor made this class way more difficult than it needed to be. I had some of the highest exam grades in the class and I would spend 12+ hours a week on homework for this class, yet she would still return it to me ungraded saying it had problems. When asking for help she tells you to look in the book. I doubt she even understands the material.

Lets just say you spend the whole day working on a program in which she asks for crazy amounts of error testing and then when it doesn't work because of one little thing she gives it back taking 20% off your grade and another 20% everyday after that until you try again. And don't even think about going to her for help she will just say look it up.

Demott is by far the worst professor I've had. Extremely condescending and not helpful at all. Wait til she retires if you have to take ET2100. If you land a good TA like I did you might be able to get by otherwise say your prayers before you take a class with this lady. If she has this many ratings, you know she has to be bad.

Unbelievably unhelpful and inconsiderate. Worst class/instructor that I've had since I started 2 years ago. She is a complete nightmare and I highly recommend not taking her for ANYTHING! Change your major if you have to; she is that terrible. I'm kicking myself for not dropping her class and now I'm stuck with having to finish it. Killing my GPA!!

This woman is a horror. She does not try to help her students. Her teaching methods include nothing but criticizm and negativity. Taking her class makes me cringe. This class is hard purely because she feels as though she should treat her students like inferior people.

The quizzes didn't represent the material taught. Guidelines were not clearly explained. Points would be taken off for things that weren't specified. Assignments could be submitted for re-grading BUT there was a 20% deduction making re-grades pointless. Professor does not seem to be proficient in the knowledge that she is supposed to be teaching.
