Andrea is amazing, she now teaches at Haverford College and she is my favorite professor! Tough, but when it is appropriate. Easy if you do your work and talk to her outside class! Show an interest in the material.

I think Prof Lommen is an awesome professor. I had her last semester for my AST100 lab. Her lab is always really interesting and easy. Almost no lab report. There are midterm and final oral lab exam, but she is a very easy grader. I've been to her twice to ask about doing astrophysics and physics major, she's extremely willing to helpful.

Not hard at all, but not boring either. Don't expect her to just hand you a free A, but paying attention in class should get you that A without time outside class. Favoritism-wise, it's hard to spontaneously like students who aren't engaging in class. Show some interest in the class, and she'll be more than glad to help you with the material.

Disorganized, unhelpful, expects too much, rude, frequently makes you wait when you have a scheduled meeting. I find myself unable to make good comments about her teaching-she has all this knowledge that she hasn't quite figured out how to share comprehensively.

If there is a professor out there who can make you never want to miss class it's Lommen. This particular class consists of mostly class discussion experimentation. Big on forming a bigger world picture. Wicked bright. Is very interested in effort. You cannot expect her to hand you an A, it won't happen, but if you work hard, she is great!

Absolutely Wonderful! It is entirely possible to do well if one puts in the time, she isn't easy but isn't impossibly hard either. Will always make time to help you, all you have to do is ask, she's very organized and can usually give you a meeting time within 24 hrs of when you asked. She teaches valuble life skills and makes you think.

He enthusiasm and love of teaching makes learning an often difficult and obscure subject fun. Don't get to comfortable with her appearent reluctance to answer questions. She is brilliant, and shares her vast knowledge with anyone willing. Just make sure to never chew gum in class.
