Completely understands the material and is willing to explain it to you if necessary. Gives fair tests. Only criticism is that she writes 1000 words-per-minute on the chalkboard and it is sometimes hard to keep up.

Very good instructor. Very helpful. You have to put effort in and attend class. It's math! No way around it. She gives clear instruction and no surprises on exams. A lot of homework but again, it's math!

Comment:

Great instructor. I took her for 110 and came back for her in 115. She met with me in her office whenever I needed her. She is thorough. Her tests are not easy buy if you attend class, stay on top of homework and study for quizzes and exams, you will be ok. Have dealt w just about entire math staff in math lab and she is about the best.

She goes through the material very fast and uses the word "what" a lot. She has a passion for math but it is NOT an easy course. She assigns the homework and requires u to do it. Her exams are difficult because she wants explicit details in every problem of how we got our answer. We are also not allowed to use a calculator on a portion of the test.

I don't see what everyone is griping about. Show up, pay attention, stay on top of homework and study for tests. She is always available to help. Very clear. Very nice. Love her.

If you show up and do your homework, you will be fine. She is very helpful during her office hours too. YOU HAVE TO DO HOMEWORK IN MATH or you will not learn it to be able to advance to next class. She explains very well.

she is better then R Collins, she does not give that much work compared to her. she does make students do some dumb work that noone needs to do. if a person knows 2+2=4, then there is no point in doing 2 chapters on it, but she makes every one do it. i give her a C+.

Really nice teacher, but she's a hard grader on her tests. If you show up to class for lectures it's not that bad but it's calculus, it's going to be hard. If you do all the webassign (homework) you should be fine. The rest of these people are whiners who want an A in calc without putting in any effort.

I honestly thought that the negative posts were just bitter students. Now I agree with them. She gave us twice as much homework then normal, over the thanks giving break, she should understand that people are with their families. She even has grammar/spelling errors on her assignment lists. It angers me that someone like this can be a professor.

Took math-110 for the credit, basically a refresher from high school. She assigns problems from the book for practice but she doesn't collect it. All assignments are done on the internet. Only complaint was on test days. She would give the test and lecture for the last 30 minutes or so. Rather than lecturing first then giving the test.

Definately one of the most terrible confusing teachers I have ever seen in my life. Her goal in teaching is not to teach you but rather to kill you with extreme amount of homeworks and to get you to do things her way which is almost impossible. It seems like she has joy by challenging students to pass her class. Never precise in her instructions.

wow, never again will i take an online math class, especially with her. crazy amounts of hw, group work, online work, you name it! honestly the Stalin of math professors. her way or no way. drop if you are already registered, trust me. im a 3.5 student and got a C-. if you have work and go to school full-time, reconsider taking her course
