He is a good professor but does go off topic. His lectures are mostly based off life experiences. The class is mostly based off the syllabus so pay attention to it. Other than that he made the class interesting and easy to learn because of how much people can relate to him and his stories.

I took this class with a few friends thinking that it was going to be easy and I was completely wrong. He is always off topic, told us to take notes on topic that were irrelevant, and wouldn't make the speeches clear. It got to the point were people fell asleep in the class and would wake up to him still talking about something else. Save yourself.

This professor does not explain his assignments clearly. He has a hard time sending out emails that contain important information. I followed protocol and asked him for clarity with my assignments. He would just say look at the supplements but even those were hard to understand. Save your self and don't take his class. He is terrible.

Very old guy, very confusing, not clear at all on what his assignments are and office hours are a waste of time. He makes BORING lectures that has nothing to do with the class. worst teacher I've ever had. Does not teach a single thing about speech. Throughout the entire semester we were assigned only 2 speeches because he could not be quiet long enough to allow others to speak. Whatever you do, do NOT take this instructor's Speech 101 class. You will learn very, very little about speech yet he'll punish you for not doing the assignments correctly. He's extremely unclear, and talks about pretty much anything EXCEPT for how to speak in public. His class is a waste of time and money.
