Good teacher. The lectures are long, notes are on the chalkboard wish it was a power point. Quiz every week on the chapter, 1 research paper, midterm and final. overall decent class interesting discussions.

If you need an easy A, take this class. You have two exams including the final during the semester, both he gives you a paper with the questions on it ahead of time. There are weekly quizzes on the chapter every Thursday that are 10 questions and almost every question he does true or False and its usually always true. Didnt read textbook once.

AWESOME TEACHER if you just need one of these classes and its not your major, otherwise you will learn nothing unless you're actually interested in the topics he speaks about. easy A, just do the work given to you and you'll be fine! (he tells you get a textbook but I never used it. I would just save your money, its usually common sense)

Doesn't cover the items in the course description, goes on political rants & pushes his own personal agenda on the class. Enjoys starting heated political discussions so he doesn't have to lecture. Interrupts lecture to answer texts/calls. If you are not a psych major, you may enjoy his class it's an easy A, if you are a psych major-run!

You're required to read 1-2 chapters per week. He barely covered the basics of PSY101 which are pretty important for going forward if you are taking this course as a requirement. So def do the reading on your own so you actually learn something of use. Used class time to push his personal political agenda to a captive audience. Very inappropriate.

Professor DeFarias is funny and makes the class go by smoothly. I enjoyed taking him because he related the topics discussed to real-life situations and encourages student participation. Expect weekly quizzes on assigned reading and a midterm and final which are simple! Read, show up, get an A

Professor DeFarias made a 3-hour lecture go by really fast! He's very upfront with his opinion and relates his experience to most of the topics discussed in class. The book isn't used in class at all, but you do need to read 1 or 2 sections every week for the weekly quiz, which is always really easy. Easy A!

Nice guy, But lets jus say that if your looking to just get an easy A take this class.. Very off topic! You read a chapter or 2 a wk and come to class for a 10 Ques quiz that's literally all True answers every week! Midterm and final consist of 8 essays, you pick 4 to do and memorize them to come to class and write them down! EASY GRADER!!!
