Comment:
Tbh, he just constantly rants about how he doesn't think God is loving or evidently real. We barely got into other religions like Hinduism: not necessarily a "religion" but more of a "be skeptical about Christianity/Islam/Judaism class." Very boring classes, will talk about the same thing FOREVER. But, it is an extremely easy A.

Very boring class but easy to get a good grade. Just read lecture notes he gives you on the first day of class and text. There is no midterm of final just quizzes everyday. You take 16 quizzes during the semester and are allowed to drop the three lowest. I would advise anyone who need an easy B or A to take the class. Just study before class!

Overall, his class was pretty easy. Most of your grade is just the homework (about 5 hours per week), but you learn a lot from the readings. You get two take home tests that you can't really fail. The only thing that sucks is that he's really (I MEAN REALLY) disorganized with his lecture, and gets side-tracked very easily. Bring a book to class!

While there is tons of reading the quizes each day are not that bad. Don't bother listening to his lectures in class as they are not useful or tested on ever. Just do hw. Very frustrating class though as he always does pointless stuff just to make sure class goes the FULL amount of time or even OVER the amount. If this class is 1 a week dont take.

He is REALLY nice & enjoys teaching this subject. He lets you turn in the HW via U.S. Mail if you can't make it to class. Save yourself some time and do your HW in class. Some people texted right under his nose and he never said a word, although I'd consider this disrespectful, so do your HW instead. Overall, the class is VERY INTERESTING.

Take $14 w/you on 1st day of class to buy the package you will need for the semester. It's a bundle of readings that includes the assignments which are WAY TOO EASY. You cannot FAIL this class if you show up to class and turn in your HW. Miss more than 3 full class sessions & your grade can't be higher than a "C". Midterm & Final are take home.

Extremely boring class. He goes off on tangents constantly and always gets lost in his own thoughts. Dont bother paying attention in class. His lectures dont help with any homework or tests. Spend your class time doing your next weeks assingment. With his tests, as long as you back up your answers clearly, there's no way to get a wrong answer!

Great teacher. No text book because he put together magazine and book excerpts into a packet. Everything was very current and very interesting. It was wonderfully put together. There was a good amount of homework. You can tell he has a passion for the subject.

Really nice guy. So passionate about the subject. Class can be boring, but you don't totally have to pay attention to get an A. Homework always took me a long time. Tests aren't too hard just need thoughtful response. Can't get more than a C with 3 absences, checks attendance often during class so don't take this if you won't come.

Take this class, yes he goes off on tangents and yes he makes his belief's well known, but it is a very interesting class and its hard not to like him for his passion on the subject. Dont let the syllabus and first class session scare you, the hw is generally easy and if you do it its an EASY A. Only two take home tests!

Really really nice guy, and passionate about his subject. Tends to go off on tangents, but if you are interested in religion, it's interesting. This class isn't a worshiping class, though, so keep in mind that you WILL learn about something other than Christianity.

I really loved this class. He is obviously very passionate about the subject, and if you are as well then let me just say.. good discussions are bound to be had. Just do the homework and 2 take home tests and you'll be fine. Also don't miss too many classes. My favorite philosophy teacher so far at any community college.

I was really impressed by Andrew Dzida. If you watch the history or discovery channel- you will love this class. This was an easy A class as long as you follow minimum guidelines. He's super smart (Phd). I can see how some who are oblivious might think this is a boring class.

Horrible class. The textbook: Our Religions is a horrible excuse for an academic work, Sharma is incomprehensible. The prof himself wastes A LOT of time of menial tasks & seems to know almost nothing about his subject. In one class period I wrote just eight lines of material, the rest of the time he spoke nonesense.

Great teacher and person. I have a feeling he's going to be famous soon for some philosophical reason. Assigns easy homework and the two tests are take home. Lectures are long but very interesting. Sometimes I didn't understand what he was saying but when I did it was amazing and informative. A true Philosophy teacher!
