Professor Havalchak is quite entertaining with his jokes. He makes sure that you know the material and is willing to answer questions if you have them. His office is always open and although he's often quite busy when you stop in he's usually pretty welcoming. As soon as you walk in you usually end up on his couch and he offers you candy lol.

He is a good professor in my mind, he really cares if you understand the material or not and will spend the WHOLE time to make sure you get it. Tests are very easy, he tells you what will be on it. Book is helpful, all though it is expensive, you need it. Great professor.

I thought he was pretty good. The class was held back by slackers who spent half ACC101 sleeping or missing, and most of ACC111 not there or not listening. I personally didn't like attending the class, but it was my classmates rather than the professor. The class is pretty easy. The tests can be a bit hard. Very informal and laid back.

Dresses unprofessional. Mostly have to teach ourselves if class is unclear. He WILL help you out if you need further explaination. Mostly, the class is really laid back, but not that "EASY PEASY". I think Hav should use the workbook. It would help students that need formal application techniques to learn the material.
