Def the best prof in BIOL 111! He is super entertaining and made me really fall in love with the course material. Go to his lectures bc he really does his best to make them interesting and engaging. The tests are very detail oriented so basically just pay attention, take good notes, and memorize the slides.

One of my favourite profs of my first year at McGill by far. I was never really interested in ecology or evolution before, but he made me genuinely interested. His passion for the material rubbed off on his students. Great at explaining things and super entertaining and genuine person. Bonus: he was in a documentary with David Attenborough

Prof Hendry is very enthusiastic about what he's teaching, and this makes his class enjoyable for students who are new to McGill. He teaches some really interesting content and likes to share his own photos and research. His final exam was a bit tricky... you really do need to know everything, including some vague diagrams and examples

He makes his lectures much more engaging than the other professors for this course because he is actually excited about the material. I highly recommend actually going to the lectures because it helps for when you're studying. But make sure you know a lot of the details for the exam!!

Fun times, but also really interesting. He captivates 300+ students every lecture and knows what we care about and don't. Truly set up the class the way we want it to be, and not just the way he wants to present the material (i.e. Bell). Also, get ready to see some first row taxidermy, videos, a dance and even a live species. Worth the class.

Great prof. I had no idea about biology and to be honest I never liked biology, but this man totally changed my mind about biology. Amazing lectures, great sense of humour, super helpful, He knows his subject very well. Although English is not my mother tongue, I had no difficulty understanding his lectures. I just loved his class.

Definitely my favorite prof so far in University! Made me want to switch my major in to Biology - the only class that I entirely enjoyed going to. He always made class so interesting with great examples and cool videos at the beginning of the class - try to get this prof if you can and if you like bio!!
