Comment:

Class is not easy, but not impossible. Pay attention and take good notes. All lectures, but he isn't the most boring to listen to. Three tests are all you're graded on. With good notes they aren't too hard. Every class you show up is an extra credit point. Must show up and listen to pass the tests. Not the best professor but for sure not the worst.

Comment:

Hoh's class is entirely lecture based. The tests come almost solely from lectures and application of the concepts. It is a hard class but he breaks everything down to an understandable level so you need to pay attention and take good notes and you'll be fine.

Tough grader and bad professor at all. He spent most of him time talking about politics and the test was not really related to the text. Never take again. Worst at Creighton

Dr. Hoh does not care about his students. I failed the first test and went into office hours and he was not helpful, Actually laughed at me for being stupid. This is not how a professor should treat students. If you are looking for a class that is extremely hard, go for it. Tests are example heavy and most of the examples aren't relevant to class.

you get an extra point for going to class, even if you dont understand a word he's saying. talks more about trump than anything. he expects you to be as smart as his stanford son. even if you study its hard, i think he just enjoys seeing people struggle or drop his class (he will make fun of students that drop his class). good luck

Dr. Hoh challenges you and makes you work hard. Although it is difficult to appreciate while in the class, the level of education that you receive is very high quality. He is an expert and he is motivated to help students learn as much as possible. Creighton is a top notch business school and I feel that challenging courses should be expected.

Hard class. The teacher involves examples that hardly relate to the material being said. The teacher criticizes students openly in class and will openly ridicule students in class and embarrass them. The teacher is not there for the students and is not helpful nor considerate when confronted. Teacher does not actively engage students.

I really loved this class. If you work hard, take notes and get to know him personally the class is great. He is by far the best lecturer I have ever had. The tests are hard but manageable if you put time into studying. I would definitely recommend this professor as long as you are willing to put some effort into the class.

There are not enough characters to describe how horrible he is as a teacher. Avoid taking him at all costs if possible. He is very inconsiderate, his lectures are boring and dry, and don't even get me started on his tests. Multiple correct answers and you must choose the "best" of the correct answers. Only take if you have a death wish for yourself

Of every professor I've had ever Dr. Hoh is the twenty times worse than my second worst professor. He has three test all multiple choice that he somehow makes hard and he talks really quietly. I have never had a harder time paying attention in class

His class is awful. I never wore my seatbelt to class hoping that I wouldn't have to go. He takes attendance and it lowers your grade if you don't go, so he'd probably mark a point off. DO NOT TAKE.

Class consists of two presentations and two one-page papers per week when you are not presenting. Incredibly vague over what he wants and what grade he gives you. He rips into the presenting group and loves it when the class does the same. Is always look for what "he" feels is the right answer. Wretched class but can get a B by not being dumb.

I took MGT 301 from Dr. Hoh and loved his class. I made sure I took Strategic Management from him. I switched out of a class once I learned he was going to be also teaching the "Capstone" class. Dr. Hoh uses the cases that analyze businesses to push us to think outside the box. I highly recommend him. He is hard but I got an 'A' and learned a lot!

Dr. Hoh is one of the most challenging professors I have taken at Creighton. You learn so much from his class. He pushes you and makes you think. I received an 'A' in his class. People that complain about him just want an easy 'A'. This is wrong and whats the point of going to school if your not learning?

I didn't think the class was too bad. There's no homework, but you should study for the tests if you want to do well. The tests are pretty close to word for word what hes says in class, so if you pay attention you will be okay (and hell call you out if you dont pay attention)

horrible. takes pride in making tests impossible. pats himself on the back whenever possible. jerk to students. tests ask questions that have more than one correct answer, and if you ask him about it, he basically says "im right and you are wrong, see you next class." average class test score of 68% is "good" in his mind and thats his goal.

We had a group presentation and said our presentation was "disappointing" in front of the entire class. He is a jerk! Take him only if you can stand jerks. Although he can be a jerk, his class is pretty easy in my opinion. If you're looking for a class with a low workload with a guaranteed B, I'd take him. BUS 471 seems to be very demanding with other teachers, and this class only consists of two presentations and lots of one-page papers. TAKE HIM!!!
