I would definitely take his class again. Although he is a math professor you can tell he cares about his students. He told us about his life and how he overcame obstacles. The most important lessons he taught us had nothing to do with math because they were life lessons.

Lectures at first were hard to follow. I start reading before class and could ask questions during lecture! Office hours are for real, you can get help with homework. I am glad I have no more math to take but this was a good one to end with.

Very forgetful. If he has to fix your grade, be prepared to be down his back about it the entire semester. His teaching style is for students who already understand the subject. Grades consisted of mathlabs, 1 quiz, 4 exams, and final (I think we got lucky with so few assignments because he had just gotten rehired). Cheat your way through!

He's very knowledgable about the subject matter, however teaching the material is not his strong suit. If you do not have a basic foundation in trig I suggest taking another professor because he teaches at a very fast pace. I would definitely recommend going to his hours because they are somewhat helpful.

Dr. Jones is crazy but brilliant. office hours are an absolute must. I took his class 2 years ago and I UNDERSTAND math. It was hard at first but it didn't click for me until the middle of the semester. I literally use the skills I learned in this class in all of my calculus Courses. I actually tutor mathematics now and the students actually learn

this class is used for mostly engineering students. its not like regular math classes you learn why instead of how to actually solve equations. i finally passed with a c but its a very difficult course and im very good at math. in my opinion dont take him unless your really want a challenging math course

Dr. Jones is a great instructor he is SO helpful. His TA'S are really helpful as well. This is a serious class. worked my butt off for an A. You get as much help as you want. He doesn't leave till youre done!

Prepare to work your but off. If you're not serious about math then do not take Dr. Jones. He doesn't teach well in class so it's mandatory that you go to his office hours which are very helpful. In this class you must understand the material to pass not just memorize it.He says you need the book but not really, as long as someone you know has it

I still hate math but now I understand it. I might actually, one day, like it a little. His explanations make you have to think. If you stick it out and do your homework, ASK LOTS of QUESTIONS you will get it. Take this class but plan to work!!!!!!!!

Dr. Jones is a great teacher. If you do not understand something, he'll explain in as many ways as possible until you get it. It's not an easy class, so you really need to ask questions. If you get stuck in a class where no one asks questions you will fail. Its been known that the people who withdrawal the class havent tried to pass to begin with.

Seriously, this professor expects u to learn! U have to ask questions, he will answer them til u understand it.
