Comment:

High quality professor in business school. Although his class is very difficult and he's a tough grader, I learned a bunch of things from his class. He will know your name and remember where you seat and will call your name to ask you questions during class, so be prepared to read the chapters and answer his questions. A C+ is a success.

Professor Lynch has to be one of the best professor on IUPUI campus (much better than Flynn, avoid him at all cost!). Just participate, voice your opinion, show up to class on time, do your homework, and READ THE TEXT! He is demanding, but is more than willing to provide extra help outside of class. *he is not email savvy, call his office

Okay, so here is the deal with Lynch. I'm an average student,and have just above mediocre grades. When it came to taking this class, I was nervous about this professor. Everything you read below this comment, is true! come to EVERY class, actually participate, read the book, and don't be afraid to think for yourself! this guy expects A LOT from you

Professor Lynch is a wonderful professor, because he demands that you do your best to suceed. There is a lot of work required from students, but if you read, do the cases, work smart on your final project, and study for the final exam, you will do fantastic.

Other reviews are spot on. This class is a great deal of work and he is very demanding. He is also a very strict grader...it is extremely difficult to get above a C. However, you will learn so much if you attend class regularly. Dealing with him should also help you deal with difficult bosses you may encounter after school.

Professor Lynch expects a lot out of his students, and he has a genuine interest in seeing them learn the concepts. As long as you keep up with all the readings and participate in class, you will do well. But, if you don't keep up with the class, he will notice. He does grade very strictly; however, he will bump up the grades of those who actively participate in class. His sense of humor and New York accent keep it interesting. Do everything he says to do and you will at least pass the class. You will learn a great deal if you put the effort into it.

Lynch is the BEST professor I've had. Yes, he grades tough and expects a lot, but is reasonable. Read all assignments and cases, apply as many concepts as possible to papers and cases and listen well during class while taking good notes. If this is done an A or B should be feasible. Slackers are the ones with horror stories getting D's. Take him!

Lynch is an awesome professor, yes he is very difficult and is hard to please; yet, more is learned in this course than ANY other undergraduate course. It is actually interesting going to class he is funny but more importantly -He knows his stuff! I would recommend him to anyone just don't slack off.

Dr. Lynch is the best professor I ever had. He is very different than most professors and I was not a fan at first. However, now that the course is over I realized how much I learned. Just be okay with getting a C (even though that is a little ridiculous), enjoy the course and get something out of it!

Professor Lynch expects his students to work, he does not give away grades. If you don't work full time and carry a full load at school you should do just fine in his class, just be ready to devote time to reading and understanding the material. He is one of few professors that really taught material that I can use in the future.
