Dr. Pease was a great professor for both bio114 & bio203. You should feel very proud if you earned an A in his course as he does challenge you, but only for your benefit..not because he's rude. If he approaches you to tell you something it is obviously something that is important and worth listening to. It will probably benefit you in the future.

this prof. is one that u will either love or hate. I hated him. I love bio but he takes it to the extreme level. his tests are off the wall and very difficult. do not take him unless you are a bio major. he is a rather helpful sometimes. However, he is extremely rude. I would advise not to take him. I got an A in the class

Love, love, love this man!!! He's a wonderful teacher and for the independent labs he pretty much supports you as long as you actually try in his class. Very helpful, would recommend him to anyone who love bio.

He is super smart, and can explain the material very well. However; his exams are much harder than the other 113 professors, but it's good for you in the end, especially if you plan on continuing with more biology classes.

Although he seems to be really mean and hard in the beginning, he's really not. He's very smart and knows what he's talking about, but sometimes it takes him a bit to spit it out. Take good, thorough notes in lecture and you'll do fine. Ask for help if you don't understand, because he'll keep moving on.

Dr. Pease really knows the material. He won't hesitate to answer any questions you may have. He is also an extremely easy grader, and loves giving extra credit...on everything. He is a nice guy, and a huge dork, which works for him. This was the most enjoyable science class I have taken, and the most informative.

i cant believe we had to write a 6 page paper on genetics without even learning anything about it. he graded it easy though, and i got an A :) His class is pretty boring but he makes funny remarks here and there. one of our tests is going to be take home and the other wasnt too hard. i studied for 1-2 hours the day before and i got an 88% (the highest grade). the other sci 111 class has it so much easier tho so take the other one! lol

The loveable goofball thing works for him. Definately a hottie too. Compared to your other options for mirobio- take pease or have a hellish semester attempting to learn from the text book, cause the other teachers cant teach you. I never even unwrapped my textbook until we had to do a chapter summary to get caught up towards the end (snow woo).

Extremely condescending toward students. Biology is usually an interesting course, but with this man shooting down the self esteem of some of my class's brightest students, one finds him or herself afraid to discuss, afraid to ask questions, and dreading the course in general

I hate this guy. There are periods in his lectures and during labs where he pauses for a good 20 minutes and than regains his train of thought. He spits when he talks. I hate paying attention to this man. Boorrrinngggggggg.
